WE KNOW SENIOR CARE

The aging process is accompanied by may many physical and sometimes cognitive losses that can make
day to day living seem extremely challenging and nearly impossible. As you or your loved one needs
more care than can be provided at home or they need 24/7 care and supervision- we are here to
support you and your loved one through this transition.

24 hour caregivers​

Dementia and other related disorders can present with a whole host of challenges, whether they be
behavior related or the difficulty completing ADL tasks. We know dementia is a progressive disease that
causes a slow decline in memory, thinking and reasoning We are ready to meet the ever-changing needs
of our residents. Our goal is to keep our residents here, despite changes, so that you are not looking to
change their comfortable setting here at Comfort Living. Staff receive very specific training related to
dementia and related disorders. This is done upon hire and annually at the very least.

We are able to serve residents with memory loss, not related to dementia and they may be things like:

  • Long term alcohol use
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Effects of a stroke

Registered Nursing Services​

Staff receive training from an RN regarding a myriad of diagnoses and illnesses that can cause physical,
or functional, limitations. Additionally, staff receive specific training on each resident upon their
admission to the home.

Our team can assist those who have been diagnosed with:

Rehabilitation and Safety

Mental illness varies from person to person as do their symptoms. We as professionals understand that
these chronic issues can range from stable to volatile to acute. We access community resources as
needed and our staff are trained on specific mental illness diagnoses for each resident that is admitted
to our home. Working with the resident’s mental health team, we aim for a smooth transition and
successful long-term stay here.
